Favourite NMC product: Swimming noodle, as it is the best way to describe what I do to my children
When I first arrived at NMC, I noticed the impressive size of the Eynatten site and its beautiful green surroundings. But what stayed with me most was the atmosphere: despite its scale, it truly feels like a big family. People know each other, support one another, and share strong values. What I enjoy most about my job is connecting different worlds, from R&D, lab and LCA to production, suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders across the value chain. I enjoy bringing structure where it’s needed, creating clarity, building connections and helping my teams move forward together. This transversal position allows me to make a real impact, not just on projects, but on how we work as a team. During my time at NMC, I’ve had the opportunity to grow on many levels. I’ve developed as a leader, managing multidisciplinary teams, while also deepening my technical expertise in the complex field of polymer foams. It’s challenging, but that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. Along the way, I’ve also strengthened my organizational skills, particularly in project portfolio management and resource allocation.
The magical thing about our foams:
For me, our foams are “magical” because they bring together so many elements: complex chemistry, diverse processes, and an impressive ability to adapt to almost any need. Their range of applications feels almost limitless. But what really makes them special is the collective expertise behind them. But what truly makes them special is the collective expertise behind them. Each foam is the result of a precise technical balance and close collaboration across teams. This shared know-how and teamwork turns complexity into innovation – and that’s where the true NMC magic happens for me.

My magical foam moment at NMC:
I don’t have one defining moment – it’s the many small breakthroughs in Research that stand out. When something doesn’t work for days or even weeks, we come together as a team, keep experimenting, and find the solution that fits. Those moments are incredibly rewarding and make us all truly proud.
